Cake Pops the Bakerella way

My sister gave me Bakerella's book for Christmas.  I have looked at it several times since then and have made a few attempts at cake balls in the past...and failed.  Today I was determined to get it right & I did.  I still need some practice with getting the chocolate to be flat and not stick more in one spot & to drizzle another color on top... next time!

Don't know that mine look fabulous..but one thing that helped was following Bakerella's directions to a "T".

What I hadn't done in the past was use enough frosting to make the cake pop mixture and also, never thinned my chocolate enough to coat the cake balls.

Hopefully next shot will be even better. I saved a few in the freezer to try again when I have some free time.
