My boss loves the beach...especially surfing. These were fun to make... a little child-like but aren't we all just a big kid at heart?
Dark Chocolate cupackes with espresso buttercream. I used turbiano sugar for "sand".

Thank you Steph. Of all the treats I have seen, these are the most special. Its 10pm on the eve of my birthday and me and my kids are loving life enjoying these cupcakes. I do love the beach and even though I didn't get to plop myself down in the sand, I feel like I had a day at the beach. Bryce and Ciela loved them - in fact, it took them a 1/2 hour to finish them-fondant and all.
